High Fibre Breakfast – Porridge Recipe

It’s written that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it’s important to get it right. To ensure your journey with MAN v FAT goes smooth, it’s recommended to have a high-fibre intake and more natural ingredients to aid your weight-loss journey.

It’s important to note, that when we talk about porridge, we mean rolled oats. Anything other than rolled oats can contain other items such as salt, sugar and stabilisers. Only recently, porridge that doesn’t contain just 1 ingredient on the label as been categorised as junk food!

So What Does Porridge Do for Diet?

Rolled oats will work some magic for your body. Apart from being high in fibre (which will help you feel fuller for longer) they are also categorised as a low GI food. Meaning, they help lower your blood sugar. Great for diabetics, but for a weight-loss journey, a lower blood sugar will change how your body uses energy. When your blood sugar is lower, you’ll find that your body won’t be able to use the sugar in your blood for energy, it will use the stored fat. Boom, you’re instantly burning fat, exactly what you need to grab those important milestones.
