Winter Warming Porridge
Porridge is a great winter breakfast that’ll warm you up and keep you feeling full all morning.

- 1 pear chopped into chunks
- 0.5 tbsp cinnamon
- 40 g rolled porridge oats
- 200 ml milk
Put a small pan with a splash of water in on a medium heat on the hob. Add most of the pear (save a chunk to serve fresh on top) and cinnamon and cook until the pear is softened. Remove from the pan to a bowl and set aside.
Add the oats and milk to the pan and cook over a medium heat, stirring until it’s the thickness you like.
Pour the porridge over the pears and gently stir before serving. Top with some more sliced pear and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
We love adding a swirl of all-natural peanut butter to this to make it super rich and delicious.
